Why do I have to pay?

"Conferences are an opportunity to carry the message of AA to large groups. As special events, the conferences require months of planning, preparation and money. These events are held in hotels or convention centers, the charges for the use of these facilities has tripled in the last two years. NCCAA is in need of your support.

This conference is self-supporting. No group money is used to pay for the event. The cost of the event is paid through registration fees and 7th Tradition. NCCAA is happy to break-even; the registration fee is nominal compared to a weekend's worth of entertainment anywhere else. Attendance is voluntary. Please be responsible AA members, we "are self supporting through our own contributions" and we do "pay our own way".
