Guidelines for Hosting a Conference

NCCAA CONFERENCE HOST COMMITTEE GUIDELINES

These guidelines have been developed over a period of years as a result of working with many different host committees. Many of the following sections contain ideas presented to the officers of NCCAA by members of host committees in a spirit of assistance to those host committee members who will be putting on future conferences. For instance, other host committee members have found it helpful to work out a schedule for their volunteers which will allow volunteers to be rotated every 2-3 hours and that more help will be needed during peak hours, which are usually during the evening hours, especially Saturday night. We welcome your ideas on how to make our conferences even better.
